چکیده

Background Hand-foot-and-mouth disease_(HFMD) is one of the most typical diseases in children that associated with high morbidity. Reliable forecasting crucial for prevention and control. Recently, hybrid models have become popular, wavelet analysis has been widely performed. Better prediction accuracy may be achieved using wavelet-based models. Thus, our aim to forecast number HFMD cases Materials methods We fitted a seasonal autoregressive integrated moving average (SARIMA)–neural network nonlinear (NNAR) model weekly from 2009 2016 Zhengzhou, China. Additionally, single SARIMA model, simplex NNAR pure SARIMA–NNAR were established comparison estimation. Results The demonstrates excellent performance whether fitting or compared other Its time series are similar actual observed series. Conclusions this study suitable cases. Hence, it will facilitate control HFMD.

Optimal Control of Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease Model using Variational Iteration Method

In this paper, the optimal control of transmission dynamics of hand, foot and mouth disease (HFMD), formulated by a compartmental deterministic SEIPR (Susceptible-Incubation (Exposed)- Infected - Post infection virus shedding - Recovered) model with vaccination and treatment as control parameters is considered. The objective function is based on the combination of minimizing the number of infec...

Hand Foot and Mouth Disease

Hand foot and mouth disease is an acute viral illness caused by the Coxsackie virus. The contagious nature of the disease is threatening as the disease primarily affects the children of school going age. As the name suggests, typical lesions will be seen over the hands, feet and in the oral cavity. The child gets irritated, febrile and lethargic. Oral lesions can add up to the general weakness ...

Onychomadesis following Hand- Foot-mouth Disease – Observations on Five Cases

In 2015, an outbreak of hand, foot and mouth disease (HFMD) occurred in Romania and many patients presented with onychomadesis following HFMD. We report on five children (3 girls and 2 boys, aged between 3 and 12 years) who were consulted for onychomadesis involving the fingernails and toenails, all of them being diagnosed with HFMD 4-6 weeks ago. We observed no relationship between onychomades...
